Poetry in Motion The Nashville MTA is partnering with the Metro Nashville Arts Commission to bring the Poetry Society of American's "Poetry in Motion"© program to MTA buses in April. Poems have been placed inside MTA buses on all routes during April, which is National Poetry Month. Read more.

Buslink New West End routes have created unprecedented access and improved frequencies between downtown Nashville and West End Avenue. Buses operate from Music City Central to West End and 31st Avenue every 10-15 minutes on weekdays and every 20-40 minutes on weekends. Read more.

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is Music City's public transportation service designed to move MTA bus riders along the city's busiest corridors with fewer stops, more frequent buses, and a greener attitude. MTA Student Quest 2011 The Nashville MTA bus system is a great way to get to and from school. Most routes can even accommodate afterschool activities, so getting a ride home after practice is no longer a problem.

MTA Awards MTA Bus Operator Adrell Stringer brought home the "Big Wheel" with his victory in the 40-foot bus division at the 2010 Tennessee Public Transportation Association Bus Roadeo. Stringer scored 606 points out of a possible 650 points, which is the highest anyone could recall by a state roadeo winner. Read more.
